Google maps still refer to this building as The Valhalla Cinema.
It was the iconic Valhalla cinema showing art house movies from 1979 to 2005. After it closed its doors, it was transformed into the success it is today a commercial, creative haven for many boutique and creative businesses.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The 431 and 433 buses travel from the CBD and Central and stop directly outside the building.
The 370 runs between Leichhardt and Coogee, running through Newtown stoping directly outside the building.
Glebe light rail station is about a 5 minute walk.
The studio is a 10- 15 minute walk from Broadway.
DRIVING
Glebe is situated in the Inner-west and a quick car trip from the Eastern suburbs and lower North Shore.
Parking
There is plenty of metered parking on Glebe Point Road and in nearby streets. ($2.20 an hour 8am to 6pm then $1.10 to 10pm)
During the week Mon-Fri Wigram Rd has 2 hr unmetered parking.
Wigram road is the next street from Hereford St, away from the city.
On Saturday and Sunday - All day, unmetered parking is available on Wigram Road. Map
At all times Bell st and surrounding streets are untimed and not metered.
Bell street is the fifth on the right off Wigram Rd as you turn left off Glebe Point Road, away fom the city. Map
Broadway Shopping centre is 1 kilometre from the studio, has 3 hour free parking and is about a 10-15 minute walk.
